Who is & impact?
& impact is founded and driven by me, Maja Johannesen. Over the past decade, I’ve worked on ESG strategies, CSRD reporting, SBTi carbon accounting, ecodesign, and innovation. I start with a science-based foundation and use tools from design thinking to make the work practical and relevant for the people who’ll use it.
I work openly, share what I know, and aim to hand over the reins as quickly as possible to ensure you can keep going without me.
I bring 10+ years of sustainability experience working with corporates, innovators, governments and institutions, and NGOs in several positions, such as:
Nordic Sustainability (DK, 4+ years) Head of innovation and knowledge, senior manager, and interim communications lead
Ellen MacArthur Foundation (UK, 4+ years) Policy research programme manager and government network manager
Metabolic (DK/NL, 1 year) Sustainability consultant and policy lead
Finally, I also spent five years as a part-time teacher and paedagogue, which might be why I love turning complex topics into something anyone can grasp.
